Tyreek Hill compares Titans’ game-winning FG block to ‘Madden play’

Tyreek Hill sounded kind of impressed at the play that cost his team a victory on Sunday.

Hill and the Kansas City Chiefs were upset by the underdog Tennessee Titans 35-32 after a Harrison Butker 52-yard field goal attempt with three seconds left in the game was blocked on an unbelievable play by the Titans’ Josh Kalu.

“That was kind of fire. That was like one of those Madden plays,” said Hill after the game, per The Athletic’s John Glennon. “He came off the edge perfectly. So, good for him, bad for us.

In fairness though, many believe that Kalu and the Titans should have been flagged for an offside penalty on the play in question. But Hill seems to realize that all the Chiefs can do at this point is salute Kalu for making a great play.
