Danica Patrick said to be ‘very happy’ with boyfriend Carter Comstock

Danica Patrick

Danica Patrick seemed like she believed it would be difficult for her to find a new partner after she and Aaron Rodgers broke up last summer. The former NASCAR driver has been dating someone for several months now, however, and she sounds quite happy in the new relationship.

Patrick shared a photo on Instagram recently that showed her new boyfriend Carter Comstock kissing her on the cheek, and the caption made it clear the two are a couple. A source told US Weekly this week that Patrick is “very happy.”

“They took their relationship slow for four months and decided to be exclusive in April,” the source said. “She’s very happy.”

Comstock is a co-founder of Freshly, which is a food delivery service.

Patrick, 39, broke up Rodgers last summer. Rodgers quickly found a new girlfriend and got engaged. That left Patrick seemingly like the woman left out, and she openly said her next boyfriend would have to live up to some pretty rigorous standards.

The story of how Patrick and Comstock met is a pretty good one. While the relationship is still very new, it’s good to see both she and Rodgers have moved on and are enjoying life.

Danica Patrick went public with her new relationship last week, and now we have a better idea of how the former NASCAR driver and boyfriend Carter Comstock met.

According to US Weekly, Patrick and Comstock were “set up” by the cofounders of Beam, which is a direct-to-consumer wellness brand that both are investors in. Patrick and Comstock dated casually for a few months before making things exclusive in April.

Patrick seems glad someone decided to play match-maker. She shared a photo on Instagram Friday that showed Comstock kissing her on the cheek, and the caption made it clear they are a couple.

Comstock must also be pretty special if he passed all of Patrick’s requirements to date her.

Danica Patrick was helping Aaron Rodgers mend his family relationships

Danica Patrick

Danica Patrick may not have been “the one” for Aaron Rodgers, but she was helpful in at least one regard.

According to a report from US Weekly, Patrick was working on helping Rodgers mend a fractured relationship with his family.

“She was working on bringing everyone back together,” a source told US about Patrick’s efforts with Rodgers’ family. The source said that Patrick helped Rodgers get back on speaking terms with his family again.

Rodgers and Patrick have been broken up since at least the summer, with Rodgers moving on and even getting engaged to Shailene Woodley. It’s unclear how Rodgers’ family relationships may have changed since then. Those issues are reportedly presenting problems as Rodgers makes his wedding list.

In 2016 was when we first heard about Rodgers having issues with his family. Rodgers’ brother even opened up about the tension a few years back.

The Green Bay Packers quarterback said that he preferred to keep their issues private.

Danica Patrick shares her mentality on dating post-Aaron Rodgers

Danica Patrick

Aaron Rodgers quickly moved on and got engaged to Shailene Woodley after breaking up with Danica Patrick. Patrick hasn’t found someone new yet as far as the public knows, and that has to do with her standards.

Patrick talked with Tamron Hall for an episode that will be aired on Friday. In the interview, Patrick talked about her dating mentality since the breakup.

“When you know what you don’t want, you know what you do want,” Patrick says, according to US Weekly. “It’s not necessarily that they have their work cut out for him but that they’re going to be an extremely high-quality person with a lot of boxes to check. It’s not as though there are boxes to check, it’s just that I know what I want now and I’m not willing to compromise [or] bend as much.”

Patrick has expressed a similar sentiment over the last several months. The 38-year-old former race car driver said her standards are “off the charts.”

Patrick, who was previously married, dated Ricky Stenhouse Jr. prior to Rodgers.

Danica Patrick shares interesting thoughts on relationships

Danica Patrick

Danica Patrick shared some interesting thoughts on relationships via her Instagram page this week.

Patrick made a lengthy post on Tuesday centered around a trip she made to Egypt. In the post, she shared some ideas about relationships. She shared common sayings about relationships, such as “your relationships are mirrors” and “you get what you think you deserve.”

That brought Patrick to her ultimate conclusion: working on one’s self is the most critical factor before finding a relationship.

“Stop looking for a religious structure or person or home or a job or a city or a partner to make make you feel better. Simply because it won’t work! I have tried!”

You can see the entire post here:

Patrick got out of a relationship with NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers last summer. Rodgers has moved on and quickly got engaged to Shailene Woodley. Patrick seems to be focused on herself for now. If she wants to get back into dating, she says her standards are off the charts.

Danica Patrick reportedly unbothered by Aaron Rodgers’ engagement

Danica Patrick

Aaron Rodgers got engaged to fiancee Shailene Woodley months after breaking up with Danica Patrick. Rodgers and Patrick dated for around two years before breaking up last summer. It would be natural to figure Patrick would be bothered by Rodgers’ engagement and be asking what she did wrong to not receive a proposal. But she reportedly is not feeling that way.

Hollywood Life published a story on Monday about how Rodgers’ ex-girlfriends are feeling about his engagement. They say that Olivia Munn, whom Rodgers dated prior to Patrick, doesn’t think twice about the Green Bay Packers quarterback anymore. She reportedly could not care less about him or his engagement.

Patrick dated Rodgers much more recently, so her mentality is likely to be different from Munn’s.

A source told Hollywood Life that Patrick “has moved on” from Rodgers.

Hollywood Life was told that Patrick was in love with Rodgers and wanted to start a family.

“She wanted to get married. That didn’t happen. She has grieved about it, but Danica is a tremendously tough woman, and dealing with Aaron is not a part of her future, so she has decided to avoid thinking about him. She is letting the past be the past,” the source said.

Again, these are quotes from a reported source, so they are not necessarily an exact reflection of how Patrick feels. But the explanations seem reasonable.

Patrick, 38, now has dating standards that are said to be off the charts since breaking up with Rodgers. She also hasn’t sparred with trolls regarding the breakup for a while.

Danica Patrick had surprising first career she wanted to pursue

Danica Patrick

Most NASCAR drivers will tell you racing is in their blood and they knew it was the only path for them from the time they could walk. For Danica Patrick, that apparently was not the case.

During a recent interview with Inc’s “Behind the Brand,” Patrick made a funny revelation about when she first knew she wanted to race. It wasn’t until after she aspired to be a secretary, a veterinarian and a singer.

“The first thing I wanted to be was a secretary, then I wanted to be a veterinarian, then I wanted to be a singer, then I wanted to be a race car driver,” Patrick said. “At 10 years old I started racing, and that’s when I thought, ‘I want to be a race car driver when I grow up.'”

Patrick came from a racing family. She said her father raced on several different circuits from the time he was a teenager until he and Patrick’s mother had Danica’s sister, so he was supportive of her pursuing a career in racing.

Patrick broke down several barriers for women in the racing world. She became the first woman to win on the IndyCar circuit and later the first woman to win the pole position at NASCAR’s Daytona 500. The fact that she wanted to be a secretary when she was a kid is pretty great.

We learned recently with the new sport she conquered on the water that Patrick can do pretty much anything she sets her mind to. She made a good choice settling on racing.

Danica Patrick says dating standards ‘off the charts’ after Aaron Rodgers split

Danica Patrick

Danica Patrick and Aaron Rodgers called off their relationship after nearly two years together back in July, and the former NASCAR driver has a warning for the next guy she dates — better bring your “A” game.

Patrick touched on her relationship with Rodgers during an appearance on “The Rachel Hollis Show on Quibi” this week. While she didn’t mention the Green Bay Packers star by name, Patrick did talk about what she learned from “the last relationship.” She said her needs have changed significantly since.

“The next guy has his work cut out for him because my intuition, my standards, my boundaries, my wants and needs are like off the charts because I’ve gotten to know me so much more,” Patrick said. “It’s going to be so much more narrow and specific. I think that’s the challenge with a relationship is — and I said this at the beginning of the last relationship — you either grow together, one grows and one doesn’t, or you grow apart.”

That almost sounds like a warning to Patrick’s future boyfriend. Whoever that lucky guy may be can thank Rodgers.

Patrick and Rodgers dated for nearly two years. We’ve seen Patrick fire back at some trolls on social media since the split, and she has been fairly open in discussing it.

While Rodgers has said very little publicly about the breakup, he seemed to address it this week with remarks that some interpreted as a swipe at Patrick.

It has been more than two months now since Danica Patrick confirmed she and Aaron Rodgers are no longer dating, and it sounds like both feel they are better off in the wake of the split.

Patrick touched on her relationship with Rodgers during an appearance on “The Rachel Hollis Show on Quibi” this week. The former NASCAR driver spoke about having a fresh start and said she learned so much during her time with Rodgers that the next man she dates “has his work cut out for him.”
