Former NFL cornerback Stanley Wilson II was arrested earlier this month for the second time since June. He was naked both times.
According to a police report obtained by The Oregonian, Wilson was found “running around” in the nude outside the home of a person he did not know on Jan. 10. He told police he lived nearby, but the address he gave did not check out.
Wilson was already facing charges of first-degree burglary, attempted first-degree burglary, second-degree criminal trespass, second-degree disorderly conduct and aggravated harassment stemming from an incident in June where he tried to break into someone’s home. The 34-year-old, who was naked while breaking and entering, was shot in the abdomen by the homeowner and treated at a hospital.
No new charges were filed against Wilson this time, but he has now violated the terms of his pretrial release on multiple occasions. He remained in the Multnomah County Detention Center on $160,000 bail as of Wednesday. Wilson was in tears when his latest mug shot was taken.
As Matt Bonesteel of the Washington Post reminds us, Wilson’s father Stanley Wilson was banned from the NFL for life for violating the league’s substance abuse policy multiple times. The elder Wilson played for the Cincinnati Bengals from 1983-1988 but was banned for the entire 1985 and 1987 seasons for failing drug tests.
Wilson II is clearly in need of help.
Johnny Manziel was all smiles in his mugshot after turning himself in Wednesday the day before his first court hearing for his domestic violence case.
The free agent quarterback was booked by police in Highland Park, Texas, and posted bond. He is facing up to a year in prison and a $4,000 fine for allegedly beating his ex-girlfriend late in January.
He is set to appear in front of a judge on Thursday.
Manziel is accused of beating ex-girlfriend Colleen Crowley and rupturing her eardrum. He was not charged initially, but charges later came after the case went to a grand jury. He and Crowley reportedly reached an out-of-court settlement.
First Greg Anthony, and now Warren Sapp.
Sapp is the latest ex-athlete-turned-commentator to be arrested for soliciting a prostitute.
TMZ reports that Sapp was arrested in Phoenix Monday morning for soliciting a prostitute around 7:00 a.m. He was also reportedly arrested for alleged assault.
Sapp, 42, was taken into custody from a hotel in Downtown Phoenix.
If you’re wondering what he was doing with prostitutes at 7:00 a.m. and why he was arrested for alleged assault, we now have some more details.
ABC 15 in Phoenix reports that Sapp met two prostitutes in the lobby of the hotel where he was staying and took them up to his room. An altercation allegedly ensued after they discussed prices, and the prostitutes left and flagged down police officers to report the incident. The women reportedly suffered minor injuries.
Below is a full incident report via Deadspin:
On February 2, 2015 at 2:30 a.m. Phoenix Police officers working security at a Downtown Phoenix hotel were investigating a noise disturbance when they were contacted by a female alleging she had been assaulted. The incident was alleged to have occurred in a guest room, after meeting in the lobby while she and another female were there as escorts. During a meeting in the room, an argument ensued, allegedly over money and the altercation turned physical, spilling out into the hallway.
During the investigation detectives were able to establish that an act of prostitution occurred in the room by at least one of the females. Sapp was detained and transported to Phoenix Police Headquarters. While there he was questioned and admitted involvement in the act of prostitution, but denied assaulting the females. Minor injuries consistent with a struggle, were observed by investigators on both females.
Sapp was transported to the Maricopa County Jail and booked on charges of Soliciting Prostitution and two counts of assault, both misdemeanor offenses.
One female was cited for one count of Prostitution and released, the second female left the scene prior to detectives arrival but was later located at a Peoria hotel. She was interviewed, and cited for a violation of the City’s escort permit requirements and released.
Sapp has twice been arrested for alleged domestic battery in the past — once in 2010 and again in 2014. The 2010 charges were dropped. The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers DT and Pro Football Hall of Famer filed for bankruptcy in April, 2012. To add to all the problems in his life, his ex-wife claims Sapp owes her $3 million.
Sapp was in Phoenix serving as a broadcaster for NFL Network. The network stood by Sapp in 2012 over his accusations that Jeremy Shockey was the snitch in Bountygate, but they immediately suspended him indefinitely without pay before later deciding to fire him.
A former New Hampshire native who is a die-hard New England Patriots fan was arrested in Florida last month and charged with felony drug possession and trespassing. While the average person would have to tell you that he or she is an avid fan of an NFL team for you to know, Victor Thompson’s mug shot says it all.
Thompson, 46, has a tattoo on his head that is supposed to make it look like he’s wearing a Patriots helmet. He has team logos on each side of his head and small American flag and NFL logos on the back of his neck. He even has “Riddell” written across his forehead and a small green dot on the back of his head like the one quarterbacks wear to show officials their helmet has a microphone.
Thompson, who says he moved to Florida recently, was arrested for purchasing synthetic marijuana — aka “Spice” — from a man at a park, according to a police report obtained by The Smoking Gun.
As Next Impulse Sports noted, a local news station in New Hampshire did a short piece on Thompson a while back before his tattoo was complete.
I don’t know about you, but I’d say that is one of the most frightening mug shots we have ever featured. Go Pats?
Adrian Peterson was all smiles as he took his mugshot after turning himself into Montgomery County, Texas, authorities early Saturday morning.
Peterson turned himself in after an arrest warrant was put out for him because he was indicted on charges of reckless or negligent injury to his child.
Peterson posted his $15,000 bond and left early Saturday.
The star running back was deactivated for Sunday’s game by the Minnesota Vikings after news of his indictment emerged Friday. Peterson reportedly admitted to beating his 4-year-old son with a switch, but said he didn’t did not think there was anything wrong with his form of discipline and that he did not intend to hurt the boy. The 4-year-old boy reportedly told police Peterson hit him in the face and that he was worried about being hit in the face if he told on his father.
A grand jury reviewing all the facts in the matter decided Peterson’s discipline fell beyond what would be considered reasonable.
Greg Oden was arrested early Thursday morning in Lawrence, Ind., after he allegedly punched a female. According to the probable cause affidavit obtained by WTHR, a witness claims to have seen the NBA free agent punch a woman in the face.
When officers arrived at the scene, they observed “blood, swelling to the nose, lacerations to the forehead and nose area of the victims face.” The victim was reportedly being uncooperative and claimed she fell but could not recall any details of her supposed tumble.
Oden, who said he dated the victim for two years but that the couple has been broken up for two months, admitted that he hit the woman.
“Things got out of control and I started to go after the victim,” he said. “My relative and witness tried to hold me back, but I swung my arms to move them out of the way, then punched the victim in the face. I was wrong and I know what has to happen.
A relative who lives at the home where the incident took place told police that she woke up when she heard Oden and the victim arguing. She said they argue frequently.
Oden has been booked on a Class A misdemeanor for battery with injury and a Class B misdemeanor for battery. This probably won’t help his chances of signing with an NBA team this offseason.
As for the mug shot — Ohio State must be cringing.
Does this look like the face of a man arrested for doing something wrong?
Baltimore Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith was arrested on Saturday night for allegedly disturbing the peace while assisting a woman who overdosed on cocaine at a Towson bar.
Police were called to The Greene Turtle after a woman was found unconscious in the bathroom. Smith was in the bathroom trying to assist her and told police he had done a photoshoot with the woman earlier in the evening. A small bag of cocaine allegedly was found in the woman’s purse.
Smith was trying to help the woman and allegedly would not follow officers’ orders when asked to move aside.
Details via The Baltimore Sun:
According to the police report, Smith was told that because he wasn’t related to the woman and wasn’t helping her that he needed to leave so that medical personnel could attend to her and Smith replied: “I am helping her.”
According to the police report, Smith was asked three times by an officer to leave the restroom before being ushered out to the hallway. Smith allegedly cursed at the arresting officer and asked him “What the [expletive] are you gonna do?” When told again to leave, Smith replied: [Expletive] you. What the [expletive] are you gonna do?”
Smith is the fifth Ravens player arrested this offseason, though he is by far the happiest. I think you have to let the guy go based solely on that mugshot. Nobody that happy could have possibly done something wrong.
Justin Bieber was arrested for driving while under the influence on Thursday morning after police pulled him over for drag racing. There are plenty of entertaining elements to the story, like the fact that he was reportedly driving with a suspended license and resisted arrest by keeping his hands in his pockets. But the best part has to be the mugshot that came out of it.
The mugshot is classic Bieber, with the pop star’s pearly whites showing and his hair spiked up in ridiculous fashion. Given the way we saw him dress at a Miami Heat game, it does not surprise us at all.
Also, Bieber was supposedly driving around with DeSean Jackson’s ex-girlfriend at the time of his arrest. Come on, Chantel — you can do better than that.

Samantha Goudie, the Iowa student who was arrested for allegedly trying to get on the field during the Iowa-Northern Illinois game on Saturday, was absolutely wasted when she took her mug shot … no surprise.
As you can see on the whiteboard held by a university police officer, Goudie “refused” a blood alcohol test. Goudie later took a breathalyzer, likely in jail, where she blew the legendary .341.
Goudie has become an Internet sensation since her story went viral over the past few days. Unfortunately, she has toned it down on her “Vodka Samm” Twitter account lately, which features her flipping the double bird as her profile picture. She even just made her Twitter account private.
Maybe Sam’s becoming a little uncomfortable with her newfound fame. Or maybe she’s just in the middle of a bender.

As far as WAGs go, Anna Benson appears to be past her prime. Not only does it look like she’s lost her fastball, but she also has gone completely bonkers.
The ex-wife of former New York Mets pitcher Kris Benson was arrested Monday and booked on four counts, including two felony charges, for allegedly running up into her ex’s house carrying a gun and metal baton. She also reportedly was strapped with a bulletproof vest at the time of her intrusion.
The Bensons filed for divorce last year and Anna was recently ordered to vacate their marital home. She allegedly went to Kris’ home on Sunday night to get some money from him, and she was toting the gun and baton.
According to TMZ, Anna has been charged with two counts of felony aggravated assault with a weapon, one count of criminal trespass, and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
Benson is one of the most well known baseball WAGs of all time. She was a cast member on VH1’s Baseball Wives and notoriously swung a dildo at Chuck Knoblauch’s then wife Cheri. She also gained notoriety in New York when she said she would sleep with the entire Mets team if she ever caught her husband cheating on her. Incidentally, Kris filed for divorce last year after Anna caught him cheating. We’re still waiting for her to sleep with all the Mets, but something tells us the players might not be too interested.
In case you forgot, here’s what Benson looked like in her youthful modeling days:
