Tennis player Sascha Zverev wears old school outfit designed by Pharrell
Sascha Zverev is turning heads on the tennis courts at the US Open — not just because of his play, but also because of his outfits.
Zverez is sponsored by Adidas and is wearing a clothing line designed by musician Pharrell Williams. The clothing line features retro clothing, which had Zverev looking like a cross between Bjorn Borg and Richie Tenenbaum.

At a recent event in New York, Williams acknowledged that his line is inspired by what he saw in Wes Anderson’s “The Royal Tenenbaums.”
“The silhouettes that were very popular in the ‘70s were very strong,” Williams told Vogue. “I haven’t been able to get past that. They’re just so cool. When you look at Wes Anderson films and where he pulls from. From the colorway to the silhouettes, I’m definitely inspired.”
Zverev won his first-round match on Monday in straight sets over Darian King. The fourth-seeded player in the event, Zverev is hoping to make a big run in his old school clothes.
