Did Blake Griffin shade Clippers in Pistons introduction?
Blake Griffin seemed to have a few subtle things to say about the Los Angeles Clippers when he was introduced as a Detroit Piston on Wednesday.
Griffin pointedly said that he had no regrets about not getting a no-trade clause in his contract, because he wanted to play for a team that wanted him — arguably insinuating that he felt the Clippers didn’t feel the same way.
Blake Griffin says he doesn’t regret not having a no trade clause in his deal. “I want to play for an organization that wants me to play there … this is where I want to be.”

Griffin also said he was excited about being in Detroit because of the excellent fan support — perhaps more focused than it was in Los Angeles.
Blake Griffin said Detroit supports all of its teams, and that's exciting to him… "Especially coming from L.A., where there's a lot going on."

Griffin said all the right things in his farewell message to Los Angeles. It’s easy, however, to read some frustration and annoyance in his comments on Wednesday.
