Charles Barkley: I’m not going to eat until the Lakers win a game
The Los Angeles Lakers are so bad that they may cost Charles Barkley his life.
The Lakers fell to 0-5 on Tuesday night with a loss to the Phoenix Suns. They look like they could be one of the worst teams in the NBA this season. During Thursday night’s edition of “Inside the NBA,” Barkley declared that he is going to fast until the Lakers pick up their first win of the season.
“I’m not going to eat another meal until the Lakers win a game,” Sir Charles said while trying to fight back a smile.
You know how we know he’s joking? Because he’d literally be risking his life.
The Lakers host the Hornets on Sunday, which may be their best chance to pick up a win. After that, they travel to face the 5-0 Grizzlies and 2-2 Hornets before a tough stretch of games against the Spurs, Warriors, Hawks, Rockets and Mavericks. Vowing to not eat until this Lakers team wins a game could very well be suicide.
