Lakers’ Lance Stephenson limps off court

Lance Stephenson limped off the court during the Los Angeles Lakers’ game against the New Orleans Pelicans with some sort of leg or foot issue.

Stephenson had just done a jump ball early in the fourth quarter and then may have tweaked something as he was running. He went down to the floor and called for the team to replace him.

X-rays turned up negative. Lakers reporter Bill Oram says Stephenson has a sprained toe.

Stephenson had 9 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists in 21 minutes. He’s averaging 7.2 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game this season, his first with the Lakers.
