Aaron Rodgers seemed to be a big fan of at least one of the draft picks the New York Jets made this year.

The Jets had seven picks in the draft. They chose five offensive players and two defensive players. With the No. 11 overall pick, the Jets selected Olumuyiwa Fashanu. They didn’t pick again until the third round, when they moved up in a trade with the Panthers and took wide receiver Malachi Corley No. 65 overall.

Rodgers didn’t post any words, but he shared an emoji of some eyes indicating he took note of the pick:

Corley bills himself as the “YAC King,” which is an acronym for “yards after catch.” Corley’s strength as a receiver is how hard he runs after making his catches. The Jets apparently liked Corley so much they had him ranked as the fourth-best receiver in the draft.

Corley even drew some comparisons to Randall Cobb, which is music to Rodgers’ ears. Cobb is not only one of Rodgers’ best friends, but he also excelled in the slot early in his career as a receiver. He was also a dangerous punt returner.

The Jets — and Rodgers — seem to be quite thrilled about being able to nab Corley in the draft.
