Brady Quinn has harsh criticism of Deshaun Watson

Deshaun Watson will once again be on the sidelines when the Cleveland Browns take on the Seattle Seahawks in Week 8, and Brady Quinn seems to think the quarterback has been milking his injury.
Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski announced on Wednesday that PJ Walker will start against the Seahawks. Watson aggravated his shoulder injury during Cleveland’s win over the Indianapolis Colts last weekend, which Stefanski says led to some swelling.
The news will not come as a surprise to Quinn. During Monday’s edition of his “Two Pros and a Cup of Joe” show on FOX Sports Radio, Quinn said he believes Watson is unmotivated to play because of the fully guaranteed $230 million contract that the Browns gave the 28-year-old last year. Quinn compared Watson to a trust fund kid who does not want to get a job.
“Everyone else with a medical opinion just clears him, pretty much. It’s kind of similar to this: You get a kid who gets a trust fund (of) $230 million and you say, ‘Hey, you want to go out and get a job?'” Quinn said. “And he’s like, ‘No, not really. I’ve got $230 million coming. I’m good.’ That’s what it kind of feels like. It’s human nature by the way, too, for if someone won the (lottery) and you end up netting $230 million, you’d probably be like, ‘Yeah, I’m good. I’m probably not gonna do this anymore.'”

Watson landed hard after being hit on an off-balanced throw last Sunday. He hit his head off the turf but cleared concussion protocol. Trainers were then seen tending to his shoulder. Stefanski later told reporters that Watson wanted to go back in but the Browns decided to play it safe.
Only Watson and the Browns know the real extent of Watson’s injury. Watson initially hurt the shoulder in Week 3, and he made a troubling admission about it recently.
With Watson having a fully guaranteed contract, he has no financial incentive to perform. Quinn, a former Browns quarterback, feels that has become a problem in Cleveland.
