Report: Broncos want DeMarcus Ware for part-time coaching role

The Denver Broncos are looking at ways to improve their offseason program, and that includes bringing in some well-known part-time coaches.

According to Mike Klis of 9News, the Broncos have spoken with former linebacker DeMarcus Ware about a part-time offseason coaching role. They have done the same with other former players.

Ware would likely spend a few days with players during offseason workouts. The belief is that Ware’s presence would be particularly valuable to rookie Bradley Chubb, who has been compared to Ware in terms of position and skillset.

Ware has already expressed his excitement to see Chubb play. If he wants to do it, it sounds like he has the opportunity to take an active role in helping him fulfill his potential and become a better player.
