Ezekiel Elliott blames poor communication for Cowboys’ road woes

Ezekiel Elliott

The Dallas Cowboys certainly seem to have figured out some things offensively at home, but their play on the road is still a major concern.

The Cowboys are 3-0 at home but 0-3 on the road, and they’re averaging just over 12 points per game on their travels. Running back Ezekiel Elliott thinks that’s down to poor communication and members of the offense not knowing what to do.

Dallas’s winning ways on the road must start soon. They’re away to Washington, a division rival, this Sunday. Their home win against Jacksonville relieved a lot of pressure, but the issues that had been simmering beneath the surface after their 2-3 start will probably return if they suffer another disappointing defeat.
