Johnny Manziel denies breaking nose of bar employee

Johnny Manziel

Johnny Manziel is facing yet another lawsuit over an alleged incident that took place back in September, but the free agent quarterback once again insists he is innocent.

On Tuesday, details emerged of a legal filing made by a bar employee in Texas who claims Manziel punched him in the face and broke his nose. Manziel told TMZ the allegations are “absolutely not true.”

The bar employee, Eric Newton, says someone in Manziel’s inner circle overheard Newton sharing his opinion about the former Cleveland Browns quarterback with a customer. Manziel’s friend apparently told him what Newton said, and Manziel supposedly lost his cool after that. You can read more of the allegations here.

Newton is seeking between $200,000 and $1 million in damages.

Manziel recently reached a tentative deal to have his domestic violence case involving his ex-girlfriend dismissed. Every time he solves one of his off-field problems, it feels like another comes along.
