Josh Allen thinks he knows how to fix his accuracy issues

Josh Allen

The big knock against Josh Allen throughout the draft process has been his accuracy issues.

Allen completed just 56.2 percent of his passes at Wyoming. We also learned that his completion percentage in junior college was even worse.

Allen was taken No. 7 overall by the Buffalo Bills, who traded up with Tampa Bay to get him. He has heard all about his accuracy issues and thinks they can be fixed.

According to Bills reporter Joe Buscaglia, Allen said Friday that he feels his accuracy problems are tied to his footwork and that if he fixes his footwork, he can be as accurate as anybody.

Allen may think that this is a fixable issue, but we feel otherwise. Accuracy is something you either have or don’t have. You can maybe improve, but you don’t change what you are. It’s certainly buyer beware for Buffalo, though they clearly aren’t worried about that or the other issue with Allen.
