Myles Garrett was asked after game if Mason Rudolph said anything. Here was his answer

Myles Garrett

Myles Garrett’s violent response to Mason Rudolph during their incident on Thursday night was so extreme that it left some wondering whether Rudolph had said something to set off the Cleveland Browns defensive lineman.

Garrett was asked after the game whether that was the case.

“Did Mason say something, is that what started things?” he was asked.

“They just gotta go look at it, and I’m not going to comment on it,” Garrett said.

Here’s the video:

Garrett did not appear to give any hints or say anything about a racial slur used by the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback. It wasn’t until a week later that a report said Garrett claimed in his appeal hearing that Rudolph used a racial slur during their fight. Rudolph’s attorney called Garrett’s “shameful” accusation a lie. Some Browns and Steelers players have said they did not hear Rudolph use a racial slur.

The NFL also said on Thursday that Garrett’s indefinite suspension has been upheld, while Maurkice Pouncey’s has been reduced.
