Lamar Jackson played at an MVP level once again in the Baltimore Ravens’ win over the Houston Texans on Saturday, and one of the quarterback’s veteran teammates expects that to continue.

The Ravens beat the Texans 34-10 in the Divisional Round playoff game between the two teams at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Md. Jackson went 16/22 for 152 yards, 2 touchdowns and 0 interceptions on a windy evening. He also had 100 yards rushing and 2 rushing scores.

After the game, several Ravens players spoke about how Jackson delivered a fiery halftime speech when the score was tied 10-10. Wide receiver Nelson Agholor said he believes Jackson has found a new gear.

“There’s something in him, right now,” Agholor told reporters. “It’s been in him all year, but there’s something really in him right now and I’m with it. I’m with it.”

Agholor is right that the Ravens are extremely tough to beat when Jackson is dialed in. That has been the case for most of the season in the quarterback’s first year with Todd Monken as offensive coordinator.

There were some questions about whether the success would continue in the playoffs, but Jackson answered those on Saturday. The quarterback even pulled a Bo Jackson while dominating the Texans.

The Ravens now await the winner of Sunday’s game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills.
