Will Fuller expected to return for Texans against Chiefs

Will Fuller

The Houston Texans struggled on offense for much of their overtime win over the Buffalo Bills on Saturday, but they are expected to get a huge boost ahead of next week’s divisional round game.

Will Fuller was unable to suit up on Saturday because of a hamstring injury, but reports indicate he will be able to play against the Kansas City Chiefs next weekend.

Fuller is one of Deshaun Watson’s favorite targets, and his big-play ability helps open up more space for DeAndre Hopkins. It also allows Kenny Stills to draw less attention as the team’s No. 3 wide receiver, so having Fuller on the field makes Houston a lot more difficult to defend.

Fuller has battled numerous injuries during his four NFL seasons, but there’s no question the Texans are better when he’s healthy and playing. Houston was able to get away with only scoring 22 points against Buffalo, but next week’s game against the Chiefs could be more of a shootout.
