Kate Upton and boyfriend Maksim Chmerkovskiy reportedly break up
The New York Post’s Page Six reports that the supermodel and “Dancing With the Stars” veteran have split up. They say the long-distance relationship — she spends most of her time in New York while he is in LA — didn’t work out and that they hardly got to see each other.
Ordinarily we wouldn’t care about Chmerkovskiy because he has no sports ties, but Upton is kind of a big deal. Now that she’s back on the market, it’s time to handicap what athlete she’ll date next, because we’re fully expecting her to rebound with a sports figure.
Upton has dated Detroit Tigers ace Justin Verlander and rumors said she was dating Mark Sanchez. Since she likes pitchers and New York athletes, how great would it be if she ended up with Mets ace Matt Harvey? Then there would be an SI model fight between her and Anne V, who is already dating the pitcher.
