Jarret Stoll taken to hospital after suffering seziure

Los Angeles Kings center Jarret Stoll was rushed to the hospital on Wednesday after suffering a seizure, the Los Angeles Times reports.

According to Kings GM Dean Lombardi, Stoll suffered the seizure early in the morning at his Hermosa Beach, Calif. home. He underwent tests at the hospital. Lombardi told The Times that Stoll would be released later in the day. They are trying to determine what caused the seizure.

Stoll suffered a concussion on a hit from the San Jose Sharks’ Raffi Torres during Game 1 of their Western Conference semifinal playoff series.

Stoll missed the rest of the series but returned for the Western Conference finals against the Chicago Blackhawks. Stoll also suffered a concussion in the 2006-2007 season.

Stoll has been with the Kings for five seasons. He had 18 points in 48 regular-season games last season. Stoll is also dating TV host/reporter Erin Andrews.
