Texas Rangers affiliate may put lazy river in ballpark
The Frisco RoughRiders, the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, are toying with the idea of doing something totally awesome to improve their stadium.
According to a Dallas Morning News article, the RoughRiders are considering turning the pool beyond right field at Dr Pepper Ballpark into a lazy river. The Morning News shared photos of conceptual drawings for potential improvements to the park, including the lazy river.

Last year the park did renovations that included a new video board, LED signs and a new sound system, among other improvements. This year they’re looking to top that.
In addition to the lazy river, the park is exploring adding cabanas around the outfield and lining the lazy river. It would almost be like going to a Las Vegas pool party while catching a minor league ballgame. Sounds pretty cool.
