LA Kings mascot cautions Dodgers against Carlos Marmol trade
A report on Monday said the Los Angeles Dodgers were closing in on a trade for Carlos Marmol, whom the Chicago Cubs designated for assignment last week. Marmol has been pretty bad this season — and the last two for that matter — so many were wondering why the Dodgers would want him. He is 2-4 with a 5.86 ERA, 1.70 WHIP, six home runs allowed, and three blown saves in 27.2 innings. That’s pretty terrible.
Even the Los Angeles Kings mascot, Bailey, was trying to talk some sense into the other LA team amid the reports.
Carlos Marmol… DON'T DO IT DODGERS

Hey dodgers. I thought about it for a while….. Carlos Marmol DON'T DO IT!

Marmol is owed more than $5 million of the $9.8 he’s signed to earn this season, so the Dodgers would likely be paying for the privilege of having Marmol blow saves for them. And get this — ESPN Chicago says Marmol can block a trade to six teams, and the Dodgers supposedly are one of them.
Listen to Bailey, Dodgers: don’t do it.
