Woman takes a dip in Kauffman Stadium fountain during Royals game (Video)
A 25-year-old woman named Jessica McCoy apparently had too many royal blue adult beverages at Kauffman Stadium on Monday night during the Kansas City Royals’ 13-0 win over the Minnesota Twins. And by too many I mean she had enough to think it was a good idea to start scaling along the side of the fountain in center field and eventually go for a swim.
As you can see from the photo above that Deadspin passed along, McCoy appeared close to slipping down the waterfall at one point. She eventually did slip and ended up in waist-deep water. It took several minutes for stadium security to get her out of danger and under arrest. Here is a video of the incident, which contains some NSFW language:
This is not the first time we have seen a fan arrested for swimming in the Kauffman Stadium fountain. However, at least the guy who did it last year had a legitimate reason for diving in. Kansas City radio personality Danny Boi from 96.5 The Buzz later pointed out that McCoy was arrested and charged with tresspassing, resisting arrest and soliciting an officer with gratuitous favors. McCoy admitted that she was drinking after being released from prison, which was a stunning revelation.
