2014 NBA All-Star Game jerseys will feature sleeves
The NBA unveiled sleeved jerseys for its Christmas Day lineup this year, and the new threads were not well-received. Dirk Nowitzki and other NBA stars thought the jerseys were awful, while one player even claimed they affected his shot. Too bad, because it looks like they’re coming back for the All-Star Game.
Phil Hecken of Uni Watch shared the photo you see above on Thursday morning. No, those aren’t soccer uniforms. Paul Lukas of Uni Watch confirmed that they are the real deal.

Another tweet, which was discovered by SportsLogos.net, showed us possible warmup jackets that could go along with the jerseys.

Ball Don’t Lie’s Dan Devine also reported that he got a chance to look at the jerseys, so it sounds like the return of the sleeves is all but certain. Apparently the NBA does not care that hundreds of players and thousands of fans think the sleeved jerseys are an uncomfortable eye sore. Deal with it.
