Cavaliers signing Kendrick Perkins for playoffs
The Cleveland Cavaliers have decided to add some size and veteran experience to their roster for the playoffs.
ESPN’s Dave McMenamin and Adrian Wojnarowski reported on Monday that the Cavs are signing Kendrick Perkins.
The Cavaliers are signing 13-year NBA vet Kendrick Perkins with final roster spot for playoffs, league sources tell @Mcten and me. Perkins played part of season at G League affiliate after Cavs released him in preseason.

Perkins joined the Cavaliers for camp before the season but was cut and ended up going to the G League to play for the Canton Charge. He averaged 8.7 points and 7.1 rebounds per game in 27 contests with the team.
The big center has not played in the NBA since the 2015-16 season with the New Orleans Pelicans.
