Chandler Parsons burns Rockets for some reason

The Los Angeles Clippers were able to take Game 1 of their playoff series against the Houston Rockets on Monday night, despite Chris Paul being out with a hamstring injury. Chandler Parsons seemed very pleased about it.

Almost immediately after LA put the finishing touches on its 117-101 victory, Parsons tweeted the following:

Sweet dreams.

— Chandler Parsons (@ChandlerParsons) May 5, 2015

Of course, Parsons claimed he was simply going to sleep and not tweeting about the game.

@AminESPN @highkin I can't go to sleep bro? Grow up.

We know that wasn’t a coincidence. Parsons and the Rockets did not exactly part ways on good terms last summer, with Parsons admitting he was offended by the way Houston treated him in free agency. He was also bothered by James Harden saying the departure of Parsons would not affect the Rockets.

For what it’s worth, the Rockets are still contending for a championship. They sent Parsons’ Dallas Mavericks packing last series, though Parsons only appeared in one game because of a knee injury. Still, he looks dumber now than he did the last time he threw Twitter shade at his old team.
