Someone posted a Deron Williams missing poster outside Barclays Center
The world can be a cruel place for an NBA All-Star. Just ask “Mr. Unreliable” Kevin Durant about that. Or better yet, check with Deron Williams, who is a punching bag for some Nets fans.
The humorous photo seen above is a meme that has been going around the ‘net. Some fan decided to print it up and post it on Atlantic Avenue across from the Atlantic Mall in front of Barclays Center, according to The Brooklyn Game.
The poster has some info about Williams such as his height, weight and age. And then it gets funny, saying Williams has been missing since 2/23/2011, and offering a reward for the remainder of Williams’ salary. The contact info is for Nets GM Billy King.
Oh, and there is some great comedy to it, too. Williams’ identifying characteristic is a “messed up tattoo on right arm” which is so true, and they say he was last seen “getting a legendary coach fired in Salt Lake City.”
Although mean-spirited, the poster is dang funny. D-Will actually played well in the first quarter of Brooklyn’s win or go home playoff game with the Raptors.
