You’d think that after 50,000 minutes played in the NBA people would finally know how to spell Dirk Nowitzki’s name, but that’s not always the case.
Nowitzki surpassed the 50,000 career minute mark during the Dallas Mavericks’ game against the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night, and he did so with a jersey that misspelled his last name as “Nowitkzi.”

Dirk had 12 points in 25 minutes during the 104-101 loss. He’s now in his 20th NBA season and still posting more than respectable numbers across the board.
If only people could get his name right …
