Joel Embiid delivers monster block on LeBron James (Video)
Joel Embiid continues to show that he was worth the wait.
Though his Philadelphia 76ers don’t yet have anything to show for it in the win column, Embiid has shown the skills and promise that led Philly to take him with the No. 3 overall draft pick in 2014. Just take a look at this monstrous block he had on LeBron James in the first quarter of the Sixers-Cavs game Saturday:

Did Embiid get away with a goaltend there? That’s debatable. But for the statement the block made and the excitement it generated for Philly fans, it was worth it.
Through three games this season, Embiid has averaged 17.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per game. And he gave LeBron a little taste of the Cavs star’s own medicine with the chase-down block.
