Lamar Odom Jr. shared the first public photo of his father since the elder Odom was hospitalized following an overdose at a Nevada brothel in October.
“Christmas with my pops. Here’s to 2016. Blessed,” Odom Jr. captured his photo on Instagram.
The photo features Odom, his son and daughter. Both children are from Odom’s previous marriage to Liza Morales.
If you didn’t know any better, you wouldn’t think anything of the photo. The former NBA Sixth Man of the Year looks completely normal. However, information points to a different story; Odom reportedly was feared to have suffered serious brain damage. Only a few weeks ago he showed signs of improvement and was even able to walk on his own.
Just appearing in a photo with his children is a really nice sign and start to the new year for Odom.
