As Matthew Dellavedova has blown up in popularity during the NBA playoffs, and more specifically, during the NBA Finals, we’ve continually received the same question: is he single? While he keeps things fairly private, we can tell you that the 24-year-old is not married but his girlfriend is a girl he met in college — Anna Schroeder.
The two have been together just over two years, which means they were not a couple until the end of his senior year. As he posted on Instagram, the two recently marked their two-year anniversary together.
Schroeder is a former volleyball player from St. Mary’s, which is where Delly played his college ball. Schroeder is from Conford in Northern California and attended Berean Christian High School, where she was a three-time league MVP in volleyball. She was a four-year player for St. Mary’s volleyball team as a libero. The 5-foot-7 athlete is also pretty smart, as she made the commissioner’s honor roll for posting a GPA above 3.75. Her brother Marcus is actually the Director of Basketball Operations at St. Mary’s.
Schroeder likes to keep things private. Her Facebook account only offers limited information, while her Twitter account is locked as private, just like her Instagram account. But Matthew is proud of his girlfriend and frequently shares photos of his squeeze Anna Schroeder on Instagram.
