Oklahoma City store selling Kevin Durant Thunder jerseys for 48 cents
Kevin Durant is most certainly not an $88 player. And that’s because he’s actually a $0.48 player.
According to a report by Darren Rovell of ESPN on Friday, Academy Sports+Outdoors, a sporting goods store in Oklahoma City, is selling Durant Thunder jerseys at an insane 99 percent discount. Normally priced at $69.99, the jerseys were marked down to just 48 cents before being put on clearance.

It’s quite common to see a departed player’s merchandise selling for dirt cheap in the town he just left. But it’s still nothing short of unfathomable that the jersey of a former MVP and four-time NBA scoring champion could be had for the price of just five dimes (which is actually more than Durant averaged during his entire career in Oklahoma City — boom, roasted).
While Durant is still rocking some Thunder merch himself, the jerseys, which, according to Rovell, did wind up selling out, are probably a good indication of how valued he is in Oklahoma City these days.
