Marvin Hagler calls out Floyd Mayweather, tells him to fight GGG
Marvin Hagler joined Twitter on Thursday and wasted little time making his presence felt.
The Boxer Hall of Famer sent a tweet calling out Floyd Mayweather Jr. and telling him to fight GGG — Gennady Golovkin.
They say Floyd Mayweather vs Andre Berto will be free on CBS. Man they should PAY US to watch this mismatch! What an extremely bad fight.

Mayweather should fight my man Golovkin! Why not Duran fought me!?

Really though if not Golovkin, Floyd Mayweather should be facing Tim Bradley Jr next! Tim is the next guy in line! That's the truth!

Golovkin has emerged as one of the most feared fighters in all of boxing. Now 33-0 with 30 knockouts, Golovkin is a slugger who can punish opponents. And why would Hagler mention the Kazakh fighter? Because GGG has the highest amount of title defenses and highest knockout percentage in those fights since Hagler.
As awesome as the undefeated Mayweather is, the one area where he has always come up short is opponents. He refused to fight Manny Pacquiao at his peak, and he probably is going to duck Golovkin. He’s just more interested in preserving the undefeated record than fighting the best fighter available each time out.
