
Malik Monk put on a show in Kentucky’s win over North Carolina at the CBS Sports Classic in Las Vegas on Saturday.
The freshman guard scored 47 points and hit the go-ahead 3-pointer to lift the Wildcats over the Tar Heels at T-Mobile Arena.

Monk was 8 of 12 on 3-pointers in the game.
“The rim was big already,” Monk said of his mindset ahead of the winning shot. “My teammates set me up with great screens, and I was wide open. I was able to knock it down.”
De’Aaron Fox added 24 in the 103-100 win.
