Braxton Miller raising eyebrows with his social media activity
Braxton Miller is distancing himself from Ohio State fans in the wake of the Buckeyes’ upset win over Alabama, whether he is intending to or not.
Some of Miller’s social activity on Saturday received a great deal of scrutiny. For starters, Miller favorited a tweet that asked fans to favorite if they thought Oregon would win the national championship and retweet if they thought Ohio State would take home the trophy. SB Nation captured a screenshot before Miller deleted it.
It would not be that difficult to believe that Miller simply clicked the wrong button. While there have been plenty of rumors that he is considering transferring to other schools, the OSU quarterback wouldn’t be that spiteful in public — would he?
Right around the same time Miller (accidentally?) indicated that he thinks the Ducks will win it all, he also posted a quote about loyalty on Instagram.
One thing’s for sure — Miller doesn’t seem all that happy. Redshirt sophomore quarterback Cardale Jones led the Buckeyes to an upset victory over Alabama and then sent this awesome tweet. Before that, JT Barrett had emerged as a Heisman Trophy candidate. Miller is basically a forgotten man at this point, and there were rumors about him even transferring to Oregon. It’s all a little too suspicious.
