UCF’s McKenzie Milton suffers gruesome leg injury
UCF quarterback McKenzie Milton suffered a gruesome leg injury on Friday against the South Florida Bulls.
Milton was hit on a scramble and his leg bent in an extremely unnatural direction. The injury appeared severe immediately, and Milton had to be carted off the field.
McKenzie Milton scrambled to try and get a first down and he was hit funny. They're bringing the cart out for him now. #UCFvsUSF

The visuals of the injury were so awful that ESPN opted not to show any replays of the hit and aftermath (though you can see it here). The team surrounded him on the field.
Heartbreaking.
ESPN (appropriately, wisely) not replaying the McKenzie Milton injury.
Yep, that bad.

With UCF set to play in the AAC Championship next week, it’s a brutal blow to their chances. Much more importantly, however, it’s awful for Milton. If it’s anywhere near as bad as it looked, he won’t play again this season, and one can only hope that he makes a full recovery.
