Alabama running back TJ Yeldon received a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for mocking Johnny Manziel’s hand gesture and doing a double-throat slash after scoring a touchdown in the second quarter of the Crimson Tide’s game against Texas A&M on Saturday.
Yeldon polished off an impressive 11-play, 93-yard by the Tide with a 4-yard TD run into the end zone to make it 28-14. As soon as he got up, he mocked Manziel’s money gesture and did a double-throat slash. The act was noticed by the refs who penalized him, and it led to Nick Saban chewing him out on the sidelines.
Was it worth it, TJ? Probably.
