Lolo Jones gets acting role in movie ‘Left Behind’
Lolo Jones scored a role in a movie and actually has already done her first acting work.
The Olympic hurdler and bobsledder filmed a scene for “Left Behind,” which is due out next year. “Left Behind” comes from the Christian book series, and it will star Nicolas Cage, Chad Michael Murray, Nicky Whelan, and Jordin Sparks.
Jones plays a security guard named Lola and has 10 words. According to Olympics Talk, she filmed her scene on Monday.
Jones mocked herself for the small role using her typical self-deprecating humor over Twitter:
u guys are good. I'm a gate attendant. I have ten words. Really 8. I counted Mr. Williams as 2 words to increase Oscar chances #LeftBehind

The movie’s producer and writer, Paul Lalonde, told Olympics Talk’s Nick Zaccardi that Jones was a natural. He also says he included Jones in the film after learning that the talented athlete trains in Baton Rouge, La., which is where they were shooting.
We imagine Lolo was great on set. She’s definitely a comedian, and she already has the drama act down.
