Andy Dalton, AJ Green reportedly ‘more in sync’ than ever

The Cincinnati Bengals have the tools needed to be one of the best offensive teams in football, and they could be ready to live up to their potential this season if the early reports from training camp are any indication.

ESPN’s Coley Harvey wrote recently that Andy Dalton and A.J. Green have appeared “more in sync this spring than they have been during any offseason workout of their career.” Harvey speculates that both players being signed to long-term extensions has alleviated a distraction.

If Dalton wants to continue to take strides, he’ll need to lean heavily on Green this season. Marvin Jones and Mohamed Sanu have moved on to new teams, so Dalton could find himself looking to Green more than ever. Both players are in their prime and should be poised to set career-highs in a lot of categories if they remain healthy.
