Broncos safety played most of game with broken leg
Denver Broncos safety David Bruton played most of Sunday’s game with a broken leg, according to coach Gary Kubiak.
Bruton will miss the next 4 to 6 weeks with the injury, which ends his regular season at the least. More incredibly, according to Kubiak, Bruton played most of the game with the injury which he suffered late in the first quarter.
Kubiak: Bruton Jr fractured his fibula on play 15 or 16 of the game. He’s going to miss some time.
“Amazing what he did. He’s a warrior."

Other NFL players — like this star QB — have admitted to playing hurt this year, but it’s rather remarkable that Bruton made it through the game. No surprise that, according to Denver Post beat writer Nicki Jhabvala, he didn’t look all that great after it ended.
