Ezekiel Elliott’s team blasts Harold Henderson in statement
Ezekiel Elliott’s reps have gone on the offensive after the Dallas Cowboys running back’s six-game suspension was upheld by an arbitrator.
Elliott appealed his six-game suspension and had his hearing last week. On Monday evening, arbitrator Harold Henderson upheld the suspension. Elliott’s team released this statement in response to the decision:

The statement says Elliott was the victim of a “conspiracy orchestrated” by the NFL. They also accused Henderson of being influenced by league politics. Henderson is a former league worker and has been accused in the past of not truly being an independent third party. It’s for that reason Elliott reportedly entered his appeal expecting to lose.
Elliott’s legal team will fight the suspension in federal court. The back is expected to play in Week 1.
