JJ Watt suffers injury, takes shot from Eric Fisher (Video)
JJ Watt exited Saturday’s Houston Texans-Kansas City Chiefs playoff game after slipping on the turf and hurting himself.
Watt was hurt midway through the third quarter on a second down play. He previously had left the game with a groin problem but returned.

This time he was rushing the passer and slipped/lost his footing, potentially suffering a groin or leg injury.

He was on the sidelines for the rest of the series, and the Chiefs ended up scoring a touchdown.
One of the controversies surrounding the play was the way Eric Fisher shoved Watt into the turf after the defensive stud went down. It seemed as if Fisher didn’t realize Watt was completely hurt, so he instinctively tried to bury his opponent.
Jeremy Maclin also suffered an injury on the same play.
