Josh Cribbs says goodbye to Cleveland with touching collage (Picture)

Josh Cribbs goodbye

Josh Cribbs said goodbye to the city of Cleveland in about as classy of a manner possible. He (or most likely someone from his camp) put together a collage of images from his time in Cleveland that tell a powerful story.

Cribbs was signed by the Browns in 2005 as an undrafted free agent. He spent eight seasons with the team and made the Pro Bowl twice as a return man. He scored 11 special teams touchdowns for the Browns and nine as a receiver or rusher.

Cribbs was known for playing hard and giving back to the community. He has reportedly agreed to sign with the Arizona Cardinals.

Say it ain’t so. Cleveland has given away another great player in Josh Cribbs. Cribbs gave his heart to the
Cleveland and Akron community as well as putting his all on the field
every weekend. Who will be left after all the bloody trading and
drafting. Weeden? I have lived and died for Cleveland for 58 years. I am tired of losing good players. Get ready for another 4 and 8 season.

I don’t understand it.  I don’t mind seeing unproven players traded/let go, but Cribbs has shown he’s a great player.  Must be a money thing.  He’ll do well where ever he goes.

He was a true Cleveland Brown. Sorry to see him go. Many years he was on the team, he was about the only reason to watch.
