Ravens DB Victor Hampton arrested for DWI suspicion, did 100 in a 50 mph zone

Baltimore Ravens DB Victor Hampton was arrested Saturday on suspicion of DWI after being clocked doing 100 mph in a 50-mph zone, according to a report.

WSOC-TV in Charlotte says Hampton was pulled over by a state trooper after being clocked speeding shortly after midnight. Hampton’s BAC was said to be 0.10, which is slightly over the legal limit of 0.08. He is facing DWI, reckless driving and driving with an open container charges. He posted bond after being arrested and booked.

The trooper who pulled him over also noticed two passengers trying to hide guns in the front seat. They were charged for carrying concealed weapons, and one of the two was also hit with a marijuana possession charge.

Hampton, 22, played three seasons at South Carolina and went undrafted last year. He spent a part of the season on the practice squad for the New York Giants, and he was signed by Ravens this year.

This arrest might seal his fate with the team.
