Oops wrong page for that comment above.

As far as moral victories go, there is none.

It is still disappointing to lose. Feeley played pretty well, and then blew it at the end.

They got close, but close only counts in horseshoes, and hand grenades.

It is only a controversy in the fans eyes.

What the fans think doesn't matter to Andy Reid.

Reid has already said that when McNabb is healthy he is the starter.

Sometimes a moral victory can be quite profitable...Charlie Weis and Notre Dame had a moral victory against USC in the 2005 Bush Push game and as a result the ND brass signed Charlie a 10 year multi-million dollar contract a couple of weeks later.

LB, have you been sniffing around Andy Reid's Stash? Did you not note how the Pats were running up the score (and trying to justify it) on other teams...? How the point spread against the Iggles was the largest for a non-expansion team? It's a moral victory because they contended with the PAY-Tree-uts and with their number two Starter at the helm. Maybe this is a realization of change in their orginazation (Donovan McNugget not needed) and a reason to play the other teams they face this year with more gumption / Fortitude, because as far as the stats are concerned, they were the ones able to contend with the Pats... also laying the blueprint for other teams to follow.

¡Steelers v. Cowboys Superbowl... Guaranteed!

They should get credit that yet again, McNabb is going to be rumored to be out of Philly.

You are absolutely right. Does anyone remember that Buffalo lost to Miami 24-23 in the sixth game of 1972, or that the Jets lost 28-24 in the tenth game? Of course not. Neither of those teams are drinking sparkling cider each year when the last undefeated team loses.

The Eagles played a great, courageous game, but turned the ball over and didn't make the big plays at the end.

Instead of criticizing the Patriots, we should note that Brady, under a lot of pressure, threw 54 passes without being intercepted. The Patriots had zero turnovers in a game where they couldn't afford them.

New England has played big fourth quarters against the Eagles, Colts and Cowboys. Maybe we shouldn't criticize Belichek for having his team play hard in the fourth quarter.

They should get some credit for the fact that the Reid boys stayed out of trouble for the entire game.
