You could hear the disgust in Tom Brady’s voice after his team lost to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
The New England Patriots blew a 10-0 lead in the second quarter and 20-17 lead with four minutes left in their 24-20 defeat at Miami. After the Dolphins scored a touchdown to take the lead with 1:15 left, Brady led the Patriots into the red zone and had a few shots at the end zone for a potential game-winning score. They were unable to convert and the game ended with Brady being intercepted by Michael Thomas.
In his postgame press conference, Brady was asked about the opportunities they had.
“We had plenty of chances all day. We made some good plays and we made plenty of s—y plays,” Brady said in disgust.
His press conference was carried live on WBZ in Boston according to Deadspin, which led to the bad word getting out over the air. Naughty naughty, Tommy.
The Patriots have had a lot of magical finishes this season, but Sunday’s game did not go their way. Brady badly missed Rob Gronkowski in that game.
