Trent Edwards Eagles’ locker says ‘Tebow’ over it for some reason (Picture)
It would appear that the Philadelphia Eagles have some sort of inside joke going on that involves Tim Tebow and Trent Edwards. Normally, I don’t like being that guy who has to be in on everyone else’s joke. I hate that guy. I have a friend who tries to be that guy. But a Tebow name plate over the Eagles back-up quarterback’s locker is just too intriguing to pass up.
A writer who covers the Eagles reportedly sent the photo you see above to Deadspin, but the origin is unknown. Since the Jets coaches have seemingly lost all confidence in Tebow, are Edwards’ teammates trying to force him out of town in favor of the Teebs? I highly doubt it, but we really can’t say for sure. If we find out the origin of the bit, we’ll probably let you know. Unless, of course, we decide that speculating about it is way more fun.
