Tyrann Mathieu out 3-6 weeks with shoulder injury
The Arizona Cardinals will once again be without arguably the most important piece of their defense for an extended period of time after Tyrann Mathieu suffered a separated shoulder in Sunday’s loss to the Carolina Panthers.
Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians announced on Monday that Mathieu is expected to miss three to six weeks.

Mathieu suffered a torn ACL toward the end of last season, and the Cardinals missed him in the playoffs. However, he battled back to prove he is healthy enough for Arizona to make him the highest-paid safety in football.
The Cardinals have now fallen to 3-4 on the season. While they are still in the NFC West division race, they will need to hope what Larry Fitzgerald said about Mathieu’s healing powers rings true once again.
