Ike Lochte, the mother of the gold medal-winning swimmer, says her son doesn’t have time for a relationship.
“He goes out on one-night stands,” she told TODAY.com. “He’s not able to give fully to a relationship because he’s always on the go.
“Everything he has done has been to the max,” Ike said. “He’s unique, loving, and he challenges himself all the time.”
It’s no surprise that she would say that about her son. Ryan is turning 28 and spends most of his time training and competing. It’s hard to make room for a full-time relationship when you’re busy trying to be the best swimmer in the world. Plus, even Ryan has explained that there are some big benefits to being single at the Olympics.
We’re guessing Lochte is doing fine in the female department when he does have the time for a companion. The only question is whether or not he gives them a nice parting gift.
