Hockey player Craig Peacock suffers awful cut after skate to the face (Pictures)

There is nothing pleasant about taking a hockey skate to the face, and we have seen several gruesome examples of that over the years. The gentleman you see above is Craig Peacock of the Belfast Giants. That was the photo he tweeted last week after doctors successfully used 29 stitches to close the gash a skate left on his upper lip.

If you think that’s nasty, you ain’t seen nothing yet. Those of you who are squeamish and/or have a weak stomach should probably refrain from jumping ahead, because Peacock also shared a photo of the injury before it was stitched up. It’s worse than you would imagine. Best of luck…

We saw this AHL player suffer a similar injury back in March and we all remember Taylor Hall’s freaky Frankenstein cut from last season, but the before picture from Peacock takes it to an entirely new level. I don’t know how these guys do it. Happy healing.
