Nyquist remains undefeated in his career at 8-0 as he won the 142nd running of the Kentucky Derby on Saturday.
He held off the field to win the Derby, becoming the eighth undefeated horse to win the race.

Exaggerator placed (and told friends he actually won), while Gun Runner finished third.
Jockey Mario Gutierrez is also now perfect at the Derby and in Triple Crown races. He also won on I’ll Have Another in 2012 and is 3-for-3 in Triple Crown starts.
