Like many other Olympians, freestyle skier Travis Gerrits has been looking for ways to load up on energy as the Winter Olympics in Sochi approach. The 22-year-old Canadian will be competing in his first Olympic Games, so he decided to turn to a more experienced freestyle skier for a boost on Monday — 2010 gold medalist Lydia Lassila from Australia.
And by “a boost,” we mean Gerrits created a hilarious Vine video in which it looked like he ate Lassila.
“Hmm I’m hungry…,” Gerrits captioned the video. “Time to eat Olympic champ Lydia Lassila. You know what they say – you are what you eat!”
Settle down, perverts. I would imagine it took Gerrits and his camera person several takes to pull that off. A+ for creativity and execution.
